Wine appreciation and knowledge are valuable assets for every Food and Wine Event and a critical tool for every professional in the meetings and events industry. As a graduate of Algonquin College’s Sommelier Program, Heather obtained her Certified Sommelier Designation, with Honours, in 1998.
Heather enhances her knowledge of the Food and Wine Industry through her participation at various Food and Wine Events throughout Canada. In addition, she has visited numerous wineries throughout Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Washington, California, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Along with her extensive experience in the meetings and events industry, Heather has proven experience managing numerous and varied Food and Wine Events for Government, Corporate, Associations and Non for Profit Organizations.
